My Review of TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection. With a Focus on TMNT: Tournament Fighters

I’m not doing the most extensive review, I just don’t have that sort of time. But I really do love this game, and do not regret this purchase in the slightest. To start, even if you’re just a casual old school TMNT fan you’ll have just about anything you can want out of a simple TMNT game collection. All the TMNT games from the Nintendo/Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis/Nintendo Gameboy era.

It should be on all platforms that casual gamers can access, both physically and virtually through mainstream game shops. On top of that, it has an extensive bonus content section that many TMNT fans will find something for themselves in here.

This collection of games is marketed, and made, for TMNT fans from the late 80s/early 90s. So if you prefer your Turtles to come from the 2003 era or beyond, you’ll probably find this collection lacking in that sense.

This comes off of a recent trend Capcom Inc. have started with their collection of fighting games from that same era. Given that Capcom has done two collections already, it should be noted that there is a chance more collections for TMNT games could be planned.

There have been some early complaints of input lag for some games, the games themselves will handle fine for most casual players…
